Incredibly disloyal fangirl - I read and rec stuff from loads of different fandoms, including but limited too: Sherlock, Avengers, MCR and Teen Wolf.

People talk a lot on tumblr about the books and films and music that helped them get through difficult times. The ones that made them feel like they weren’t alone.
This might make me sound really mental, but the things that helped me, that reassured me that I could survive, wasn’t an album, or a novel or a poet. It was Fandom. Whether I needed to be reassured I wasn’t the only one who felt like this, made to laugh, or just needed someone to talk to, my fandoms have always been there for me.
Thank you, all of you, even if I’ve never spoken to you. Just by being in the fandoms makes you one of my heroes.
If you by some mad chance you feel the same, reblog and tag with your fandoms. Let’s share the love.
Summary: Jim keeps texting Sebastian. Sebastian never answers.
Review: this isn’t the most original Mormor fic out there, but that doesn’t make it any less heart-breaking.
Summary: Sherlock, out of sheer boredom and curiosity, offers his virginity on Craigslist.
Review: So rereading this to rec it, it made me laugh out loud, despite the face that I’d read it about four times before. Seriously, the Moriarty coda is basically the best thing this fandom has ever produced.
Pairing: Sarah/Anthea (kind of, you’ll see)
Summary: She wore a short but practical skirt, and her shoes, while sensible, were just a little bit high and they helped to show off her long and attractive legs. (Excellent start. Really gripping plot.)
Review: This is brilliant and makes me giggle. Also is definitely cannon. All bad erotica should come with a running commentary provided by a sarcastic asexual.
Summary: First, he is shot in Afghanistan. Second, he wakes to a phone call in Chelmsford, Essex. Third is pain, fourth is normalcy, fifth is agony and sixth is confusion. By the eighth, he’s lost track.
Review: I’m gonna start by saying, don’t start reading this if you haven’t got the time and concentration to spare to really focus on it. This is not the easiest read (not that it’s not well written, it is, but the timelines are complex and so are some of the ideas). I reblogged a gorgeous little rec someone made for this a while back, but I wanted to do my own, because this fic needs a lot of words to do it justice.
The whole thing is beautifully drawn, fantastically imagined. The characterisation, of John especially, is perfect. The story is incredibly complex, but bendingsignpost manages to tie of every thread. As a lover of fantasy and fantastical AUs, I adored this.
P.S. If Peevee sees this and hasn’t already read it, you really needs to, it’s a perfect candidate for sherlockoddfic
Summary: a Demon!John fic unlike any other
Review: technically this is a demon!John fic, but before you soft-hearted souls start running for the hills, let me stress, there’s no angst. Seriously. This is a basically a wing!fic (and how the hell did that get to be its own genre???), sweet and charming and well written. I love it.
